    This study focused on the determinants and effects of occupational accidents within the National Institute for Professional Preparation. Its main objective was to explore the different causes as well as the consequences of occupational accidents within the INPP; and for the specific objectives of identifying the main determinants of occupational accidents, describing the effects of occupational accidents on the agents and trainers of this company, proposing strategies to prevent these risks and reduce the acceleration of these accidents in the said company. In order to achieve the objectives assigned to our study, two questions were asked, namely: • What are the major causes of accidents at work within the National Institute for Professional Preparation? • What are the consequences of these accidents on the employees of this company? Any researcher must initially presuppose a point of view which constitutes what is called a provisional response or working hypothesis.
