Linda retired from teaching creative writing, life story, childrens literature and Literary Publication which produced the award-winning, The Eloquent Umbrella magazine for Linn-Benton Community College. She taught writing workshops, judges poetry contests for all ages. She gives readings and sponsors poetry events. She was an editorfor Calyx Books for 32 years, is former president of the Oregon Poetry Association and is current president of PEN Women in Portland. Linda is a member of Marys Peak Poets, Poetic License, Childrens Book Writers, Writing the Wrongs to Rights, part of the Womens March. She plays competitive and cooperative Scrabble and is a fan of dance, gymnastics, art, plays, physics and metaphysics.
