This work was used as the systematic theology textbook at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis for many years, and was the basis for Francis Piepers well-known Christian Dogmatics. In Latin and German (modern typeface).Besides full indices of topics, names, authors, and Scripture citations, this volume includes a valuable list of aphorisms in Latin and German for every locus of theology and an index of several of Baiers phrases, opinions, and modes of teaching, of which Dr. Walther did not approve.
