Something to think about - The Bible assures us that our God will never leave us, neither will He forsake us.It was the God of Israel who promised: When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. (Isaiah 43.2)This Almighty Creator God extended His love to the world through His Son Jesus Christ in whom, if any should believe, they would be saved and placed under the protective wings of His care. (John 3.16) The writer of the New Testament book to the Hebrews confirms this promise: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. (Hebrews 13.5)Unbelievers (those who have not trusted in Gods provision through Jesus Christ) have no promise of Gods presence through any difficulty - they are on their own and left to their own devices. Believers suffer similar experiences while in the flesh because we are in the world - albeit, not of the world.
