As her quest ensues, a love triangle unfolds threatening the unity of her trusted circle and the fate of their realm. An ironic relationship forms when Meridian befriends a once spirit guide cast out as a fallen who has his own demons.  Instrumental to the guides journey, he becomes  the key to their quest  and holds the answer about Aiden, the human boy whom she has a connection with. Judgement day is coming and her father's fate rests in her hands, or so it seems.  The ultimate betrayal ensues blinding Meridian with pain, she follows in her father's footsteps in breaking Etheria laws to satisfy her own need for comfort and the search for answers about her existence.   The unimaginable takes place that threatens her will, her realm and her chance at finding her soul mate robbing Meridian of everything she is and knows.
