Fereydoun Moezi Moghadams early poems appeared in nouvel vague reviews of Tehran in sixties, born 1940. He gradually stopped publishing poems, as avoiding metaphors, symbols, linguistic ambiguities... made his oeuvre too transparent, not giving a hard time to censor. He never stopped though writing poems among other writings. Founder member of Iran Writers Association, he lives in France since 1979, became French citizen, and has never returned to Iran. Nazdikâyé Shér is the first and only selection of over thirty years of his Persian poems in book form.
