Zombies in Canada are historical fact, unlike the rest of the world, where they are Hollywood fiction. Seventy years ago, there were 157,841 zombies. One such zombie had a name: Alfred Mondou. Mondou was pursued for years through Canada’s three solitudes by the police, the military, and bounty hunters, and during his ordeal went through more heroics than Indiana Jones and Robin Hood together. Yet there was also time for Mondou to philander with Marian, which led to his wedding and his funeral, both within the span of one solar day. Oddly enough, Mondou’s most persistent pursuer turned out to be a hoary old Huck Finn by the name of Mac Gleason, who had somehow learned about a secret network. Will the fugitive finally get caught by a nosy old coot?
