Rollicking fun, heart wrenching pain and eternal meaning are wrapped up in this story, laced with life values and strong feelings, all entwined to make a story that grabs you on the first page and will not turn loose long after the the book is resting on the shelf.. This is a novel - not a true story - but the place is real - the story is almost true - the characters are almost real. A must read for every teenager, boy or girl. A should read for every adult.
