Preface: This work is entitled: studies on enzymes of medicinal plants was under taken as Ph.D project under the guidance of Prof.T.Ramana, Department of Biochemistry, Andhra University, India. Wide therapeutic applications of different enzymes and their influence on various metabolic processes prompted us in studying certain enzyme activities in different medicinal plants.
