It is based on two classic Chassidic masterpieces authored by the holy Rabbi Dov Ber of Lubavitch, the second Rebbe of the Chabad Chassidic movement. Part One gives a systematic explanation of the entire Seder Hishtalshelut (The Chaining down of the worlds). Part Two systematically explains the workings of the human mind and the methodology of how to approach Divine contemplation, i.e. the study of Kabbalah and Chassidus, giving the student a proper path for an optimal chance to succeed. Part Three provides a systematic account of the ultimate effects of Divine contemplation and describes all the levels of the soul. In the process it also describes all the levels of Divine inspiration and explains how these levels may be attained.
