This book is a series of stories that I experienced as a child leading all the way to adulthood. The story begins in Cape Verde where I was born. Cape Verde is a series of Islands in the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa. These Islands were a colony of the Portuguese Empire until 1975 when the Islands became independent. The autobiography of the stories encompasses my brother and I in most of the stories, until we were older and split up. As young kids we lived with our grandmother and several other siblings. There was not much discipline, since our father and mother did not live with us. So, the stories are plenty and adventurous. From hanging out in the parks and playing games, to sneaking out and going to the beaches, to missing school and doing other mischievous things. The stories go around the world as we moved from Cape Verde to Paris and then to New York-Brooklyn and then to New Jersey and ultimately to Texas. The book is broken down in chapters that tell of a different story in my life. Most of the chapters are a memory in my life that was very significant for whatever the reason. The target audience is for anybody who likes childhood adventurous stories that make them reminiscent of their own childhood. Also, for those who like a little romance in their stories. Men and women will enjoy the different romance stories in the different chapters.
