This Phoenix Still Rises represents my admiration of the mythological bird in Greek mythology that burned itself to death and rose again as a new creature. Although I am a Christian and baptism represents becoming a new creature, the element of the rebirth of the Phoenix represents the multiple times Ive faced adversity and defeat but rose again via perseverance. This work is a small compilation of my poetry from 1986 to 2008. I consider my poetry style Straight Bardism which I self-describe as brief and straight to the point. Enjoy my effort, Thank you.
