My one aim is to please God. Its wonderful to live and sit together in heavenly places. I remember as a little girl I would often sit and wonder how to get to heaven. I often heard my father pray. My father was a minister and traveled all across the country. I was raised to love God and I hated to think of death. I was taught I couldnt live without sin. I could never quite believe or understand that. How was I supposed to be ready when Jesus came if I couldnt help sinning? At the age of thirteen I went to a mourners bench. When I think of how long I prayed and mourned, it breaks my heart that we were taught to pray and pray until we felt something. Once I prayed off and on for five or six days and got nothing. I wondered why God was so hard to find.
