Banished from his country, an embarrassment to his family and the Queen of Great Britain, Tucker Shaw laid in the bottom of a ship for weeks on his way to America. Imprisoned by the swamp and Fletcher he wondered if he would ever see the heart of outlaw country. Tucker finds himself walking a fine line between outlaw and lawman, but sooner or later he would have to be one or the other. The West demands it. Meanwhile the beautiful Cajun, Macie, whom he met in the swamps, would haunt him while he took on the law and evaded Reed Fletcher at the same time. He meets an old sheriff by the name of Sanders and liked him immediately. Circumstances the old lawman was in dictated Tuckers decision as to what he had to do next. In order to help out his new found friend he was made to wear a badge. Tucker had read and wondered what it would be like to live in the Wild West, and he was fast finding out. He was a young carefree flamboyant man until he was left where outlaws roam... until he unknowingly fell in love with the beautiful dark eyed Macie.
