This book was an assignment that I was doing for a course I took on writing for children,I was to do a story based on fact about a child I hardly new,then another on the same child using her personality but fiction,My instructor wanted to feel what I felt and see what I saw smell what I smelled I thought it was going to be hard but Karlee is so friendly and good humored that she made it easy. my first impression of her was that she was a social butterfly,that was why I used a butterfly in the story,Hannah is her older sister and she so I thought keeping the two together was a nice touch writing her in was easy. they are great girls.The idea using the colors with the feelings I cant say where I got the idea it just came to me,I guess because there are so many different butterflies of all sizes and colors and a butterfly is something you never see any one swat away or run from, they make you feel good they wear their beauty. It was a fun story and it is my favorite.
