This book talks about the impact of loss and grief on the academic performance and students interpersonal relationship in a learning environment. The author looks at ways and means of helping the students process the grief. Death is something for which we do not always plan. But one thing is for sure, at some stage in life we will be confronted with it. From author experience, she gave it very little thought and it found her totally unprepared and it was the most traumatic experience of her life. In line of duty as a teacher, she interacted with students who have lost their loved ones and they become very devastated. For them to be able to come to terms with the loss, they need help. This book is primarily concerned with equipping the teacher counselors, parents and school administrators with skills to help students deal with losses in their lives
